Abstract:
This paper presents a theoretical-experimental analysis of the attribute of familiarity in verbal stimulus material. A word list of 96 dissyllables consisting of nouns and paralogs was presented to a sample of 200 U.S.A.F. recruits in order to establish a quantitative scale for this attribute.
