Abstract:
This report reviews the theoretical basis of an estimation scheme which appeared in the literature. A computer program was written for estimating the elastic-plastic fracture mechanics parameters for five different crack geometries. The parameters evaluated are J-integral, load-line displacement, and crack mouth opening displacement. Included in the report are the program listing and an example of an input and output.
